This Thesis deals with the promotion of daily life physical activity — walking, cycling, gardening, or housework — all the activities regularly performed in everyday life that require a person to move his body.

In recent years, researchers and policy makers have focused on technology as a tool to deliver coaching on physical activity.

Keeping track of globally trending research topics in cardiology can help healthcare providers make the best decisions for their patients.

It can also help researchers make decisions about the direction of future projects, and provide input for institutions to develop their research strategies.

Results: A total of 358 studies were initially identified from the search; 4 studies met the inclusion criteria and were selected for this systematic review.

All of the included studies have considered C-reactive protein as a main outcome measure.

However, the results from this study were unfortunately underpowered.

Key findings from qualitative data demonstrated anxiety symptoms had a role in both CR attendance and non-completion and receiveing a telephone call from CR services facilitated attendance at CR.

Future research should include observational studies to assess the effect of scaling and root planing in reducing the inflammatory burden in this targeted population and the risk of secondary cardiovascular event.

From prevention to diagnosis and treatment, research in cardiology has saved millions of lives.
