Schools in England targeted under what is called the "National Challenge" are those where fewer than 30% of pupils achieve five or more good GCSE passes (A* to C) including maths and English.

In January, when the league tables for England based on last year's exam results were published, 440 schools were in this category.

For my exam I did the play Whose Life is it Anyway? They were so utterly **** - they were translated too, not even written in English, no wonder they made no sense!

I did OCR btw -Jekyll and Hyde (for coursework) -A Midsummer Night's Dream (for coursework) -Blood Brothers (for coursework) and then for the exam instead of a book we studied 'short stories'.
